Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 22, 2026
This site lets you contact me through a form and may enable general usage analytics only after consent. This page explains what information is collected when you submit your details, what it is used for, who is involved in processing it, and how you can exercise your rights.
Who controls the information
The controller of the information is Itay Karkason. For any privacy-related request, contact me at itayk93@gmail.com.
What is collected
Providing your details is voluntary and not required by law, but without a name and phone number I cannot get back to you. When you submit the form, the following is collected:
- Details you enter: name, phone number, and the message text (if provided).
- Inquiry context: the page the inquiry was sent from, the referrer, campaign parameters (UTM), and interface language — to understand where you came from.
- A technical security value: a hashed fingerprint of your IP address. The IP address itself is not stored — the hash is used only to prevent automated submissions and spam.
What the information is used for
- To contact you back regarding your inquiry and respond to it.
- To manage and handle incoming inquiries.
- To protect the form against misuse, spam and automated submissions.
I do not use the information for automated marketing and do not sell it to third parties.
Legal bases for processing
- Contact form: processing needed to respond to your inquiry and take steps at your request before a possible engagement.
- Security and spam prevention: legitimate interest in protecting the site, form, and supporting systems.
- Google Analytics: consent, and only after you explicitly allow it through the site's privacy settings.
Providers and processors
To operate the form and the site I rely on service providers that process part of the information on my behalf only:
- Supabase — storing inquiries in a secured database.
- Brevo — sending an email that notifies me of a new inquiry.
- Push notification service — alerting my devices about a new inquiry.
- Google Analytics — general usage measurement (see "Cookies and analytics"). It runs only after consent and does not receive the form details.
- Vercel — hosting the site and running the serverless form endpoints.
Cookies and analytics
The site uses Google Analytics to understand general usage patterns such as page views and traffic sources. The service is not loaded by default and runs only if you give consent through the banner or privacy settings screen. You can change or withdraw that consent at any time through "Privacy settings" on the site.
Retention
Lead details are kept for as long as they are needed to handle the inquiry, support reasonable business follow-up, and for a reasonable period afterwards. Usage analytics data is kept according to the relevant provider's settings for general traffic analysis. Information that is no longer needed is deleted or anonymized where possible.
International transfers
Some service providers I use may process information outside Israel or outside your country of residence, including in the United States or other countries where they operate. In those cases, processing relies on the contractual and organizational safeguards made available by the relevant provider.
Security
The information is stored in secured systems with access controls. While I take reasonable measures to protect it, absolute protection cannot be guaranteed.
Your rights
Subject to the law that applies to you, you may have the right to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, data portability, and where processing is based on consent, to withdraw that consent at any time. You may also complain to a competent supervisory authority if you believe the processing violates applicable law. To exercise your rights, contact me at itayk93@gmail.com.
Changes to this policy
I may update this policy from time to time. The updated version will be published on this page with its update date.
This document is provided for transparency about how information is handled and does not constitute legal advice. It is recommended to adapt the wording to your specific needs and circumstances before relying on it.
